Thankfully, the story focuses on a new family and a new house, so at least it doesn't drag Kevin McCallister into this, or feel as desperate as Home Alone 4. While many of the best and most memorable Home Alone quotes are the funny ones, there are a few great lines that are more heartwarming and serious. As a teenage girl with family issues, Becky is that anyone, and she rises to the occasion – then gouges it out. Of course, Home Alone is a comedy, and it’s silly on purpose. Kevin’s violence is both kid-friendly and not part of a psychological spiral.
I, too LOVED that house although looking back on the still photos now, there is a lot of cringe-worthy decorating. Somehow it all works and just looks … comfy, cozy and right. Here are a few shots of the neighborhood from the movie. Not sure if these are really in the neighborhood or not…but I think some probably are. Another section of the living room…very traditional decor. Kevin has an older brother named Buzz and this is his room in the movie.

Home Sweet Home Alone is the last entry into the series and the last movie to be connected to the original story loosely. The ten-year-old Max Mercer is accidentally left at home by his parents for the holidays when his family leaves for a vacation to Tokyo and has to take separate flights due to an error in the booking process. As Kevin's parents attempt to admonish him for his bad behavior, he confidently runs circles around them.
Holiday classics like the original Home Alone have seared themselves into the minds of those who enjoy a rewatch every Christmas season. However, a newly revealed post-credits scene baffles me, as I can’t believe this moment was cut. Home Alone is one of the most popular Christmas movies ever and some of the most famous lines from the film have become common phrases that people like to share around the holidays.
Watching TV with their fellow inmates, a huge lightbulb moment would have ended this Christmas classic, as those bumbling burglars would have been watching an airing of that infamous movie-within-a-movie Angels with Filthy Souls. One of the funniest scenes in Home Alone is when the family realizes that a power outage had knocked out their alarm clocks the night before, making everyone late for their flight to Paris. When the family has finally realized that they left Kevin behind, everyone is in a state of shock, Kevin's mother particularly. So when Uncle Frank thinks it's necessary to add this to the conversation, it's genuinely funny because it seems like a sincere attempt at being empathetic, but it's just coming from a hilariously inconsiderate character.
The film's stunts also created tension for the crew during shooting. Troy Brown and Leon Delaney were stuntmen for Pesci and Stern, respectively. An injury had occurred between Pesci and Culkin during one of the rehearsals for the scene in which Harry tries to bite off Kevin's finger.

Things like staying up to watch Johnny Carson, eating all the ice cream, and sleeping in your parents' bed. As originally written, we would have seen Wet Bandits Harry and Marv in prison after being arrested during Home Alone’s finale.

Kevin visits them for Christmas, while they plan to host a royal family. Kevin initially has a lot of fun in the mansion until he catches his old nemesis Marv and his wife Vera . He ends up having to set multiple traps for them inside the mansion. After the arrest, the royal family chooses to spend their vacation with the McCallisters and Peter decides to go back to his family. I have a tiny house but I am gradually getting everything done in shades of green with berry pinks.Always loved those colors but seeing this movie again recently confirmed that these are happy colors.
